People2.0 Acquires HR Consulting and EOR Services Provider, Husys

[Philadelphia, PA, and Hyderabad, India – August 29, 2022] – People2.0, the world’s largest global employer of record (EOR) and agent of record (AOR) services platform, announced today that it has acquired Husys, an India-based end-to-end HR consulting and EOR services provider. The transaction marks People2.0’s fifth acquisition in the past year as it continues to expand its global footprint and suite of EOR and AOR services. This latest acquisition further expands People2.0’s capabilities to service global conglomerates in the rapidly growing India market, while providing Husys with additional capabilities around the world.

Erik Vonk, Executive Chairman

Author, visionary, and brand champion, Erik brings a lifetime of human capital experience to People2.0, including his successful leadership of Randstad Holding and Gevity HR. Erik is a pioneer whose revolutionary vision for People2.0 is to unshackle today’s global workforce from outdated conventions and become the leading enabler of on-demand, global, flexible, mobile, and remote work arrangements. Erik believes to best serve the unique needs of the global talent ecosystem, People2.0 must never compete for its customers’ clients. His ultimate goal: unlock endless possibilities for People2.0 customers, by empowering them to add work arrangement options to their intermediary offerings.

Steve Schaus, President and Global COO

Innovator and foremost enabler of global workforce mobility, Steve empowers the people of People2.0 in spearheading a fundamental shift in the way the world works. Prior to People2.0, Steve co-owned and operated CWS, an international EOR/AOR company, and brings with him over 20 years of stellar finance and operational turnaround experience, including stints at Ernst & Young and Scotiabank. Steve’s conviction is to lead with an entrepreneurial spirit and to deliver impeccable service to help our customers succeed, globally, locally, and everywhere in between.

Todd King, Global CFO

Change agent and global prophet of profit, Todd has proven success in acquisitions, integrations, and debt offerings from guiding regional operations and sales teams through his executive leadership roles with Adecco Group North America, Arthur Andersen, HIT Entertainment, and Drake Beam Morin, a human resource consulting firm. Todd is forward-looking and sees the risks and opportunities behind the numbers. He has an impressive track record of bringing creative and cost-effective ways to enable our customers to expand their capabilities by delivering borderless access and total talent solutions to their clients and the workers they engage, anywhere in the world.

Kathy McCarthy, Global CLO

Advocate and relentless brand protector, Kathy has served in innovative leadership roles in corporate, international, and employment law at Unitek Global Services, Ulticom, Vlasic, Betz Dearborn, and Scott Paper. Kathy is a recognised expert in employment compliance. She is passionate about helping customers in the talent ecosystem to mitigate their clients’ risk and compliantly expand their labour programs beyond traditional borders. Through her team’s collective employment expertise and seasoned perspective, she helps People2.0’s customers to safely enable access to the global talent pool for their clients while navigating varying and complex regulations across the globe.

Patrick McCall, Global CRO

As People2.0’s Global Chief Revenue Officer, Patrick is a thought leader who brings extensive experience building and leading high-performing sales organisations around the globe. In 2020, Pat was named to the Staffing Industry Analysts’ “Staffing 100 North America” list honouring notable individuals who are elevating the industry and advancing the workforce solutions ecosystem. Pat brings over 25 years of sales, operations, and executive leadership experience to People2.0, including senior roles with Randstad, Bond International, Inc., Beeline, and MPS Group. Pat’s primary focus is to help People2.0 continue to build momentum and accelerate our growth.
